GoodWheels is an expanded venture of Goodwill of Silicon Valley aiming to provide superior customer service and to develop long lasting relationships with our donors and customers.

GoodWheels focuses on personalized service to its customers by offering a hassle-free auto retail service.

Why is GoodWheels Good for You?

Beginning January 1, 2005, taxpayers were allowed to deduct the full amount paid on the sale of their vehicle. Because GoodWheel's pricing structure is based on a vehicle's retail value, the selling price is typically greater than that obtained by a private party seller. This translates to a higher tax deduction for the donor. In addition, to maximize the value of your contribution, GoodWheels will clean, detail, and perform minor maintenance on the vehicle. Goodwill Industries of Silicon Valley will provide written acknowledgement within 30 days of the sale of the car or, if the car is to be used for a charitable purpose, within 30 days of the donation.

Express Pick-Up Service

We will come to you! Or we will accept vehicles Monday - Friday from 8:30 A.M. to 5:30 P.M. The simple vehicle donation process takes only a few minutes. A Goodwill representative will assist in filling out a donation receipt.

Guidelines for Donating a Vehicle

GoodWheels inspects all cars, trucks, motorcycles, boats, campers, and RV’s for donation. We prefer vehicles in drivable, running condition. The vehicle must be registered in the owner’s name, and the owner must be present at the time of the donation.
