Michael E. Fox

President & CEO

Michael Fox is Chief Executive Officer of Goodwill of Silicon Valley. He has over 25 years of experience in redefining business processes and penetrating new markets for companies in the wholesale and B2B service sectors.
Mr. Fox is an entrepreneurial executive with a strong record of revenue and profit growth through analyzing complex business challenges, and developing and executing effective business strategies. As the newly appointed CEO of Goodwill Silicon Valley Mr. Fox led a team that grew the organization from a combined loss of 3.5 million dollars in 2007 and 2008 to a profit of 2.5 million dollars in 2009 and 2010.

Christopher Baker: Chief Financial Officer

Christopher Baker is the Chief Financial Officer for Goodwill Silicon Valley. In addition, Mr. Baker oversees all information technology. With a background in international finance, Mr. Baker is well known for his strategic financial acumen, operations expertise, and superb leadership skills.
Prior to his role at Goodwill, Mr. Baker held a number of top-level international management positions, at Global Corporate Concerns. Mr. Baker holds a B.A. with Honors in Accounting and Financial Administration from the University of North Wales. He is also a Chartered Management Accountant (U.S. Equivalent to CPA), and a graduate of the UK Institute of Export.

Trish Dorsey: Managing Director of Mission Services

Vice President of Mission Services

Trish Dorsey is the Vice President of Mission Services for Goodwill of Silicon Valley. Ms. Dorsey has long history working in both retail and non-profit operations. She joined Goodwill in 1996 at Goodwill of the Central Coast and moved to Goodwill of Silicon Valley in 2002. She has been in her current role since 2004.

Trish believes strongly in the work Goodwill does to help people help themselves to start on the path to self-sufficiency. Trish serves on several committees in Silicon Valley that support providing opportunities to those in need. Trish is a graduate of Goodwill International Executive Leadership program and attended San Diego State University.

Ryan Gleason: Plant Operations Director

Plant Operations Director

Ryan Gleason is the Director of Operations for Goodwill of Silicon Valley. He began with GWSV in 2004 and has maintained a steady and efficient operation at more than 20 retail locations and multiple warehouses throughout Santa Clara County. Additionally, he has excellent project management skills that have allowed him to train individuals to be the most efficient and skilled workers possible. Ryan prides himself on efficiency and productivity.

Jon Sipe: Process Improvement Manager

Johnny Cochran

E-Commerce Director

Johnny H. Cochran is the Director of eCommerce for Goodwill of Silicon Valley. Johnny joined the Senior Leadership Team at Goodwill of Silicon Valley after spending seven years at Goodwill of San Francisco where he grew the eCommerce department to four million dollars in annual sales. Prior to joining the Goodwill movement in 2006, Johnny worked in the retail packing & shipping industry for 13 years and has traditional retail experience at J.C. Penney Corp., where he worked in the men's merchandising division. Johnny has been selling on eBay since 1998 and has built strong relationships with that organization.

Stephen Borasi

Director of Retail

Stephen Borasi is the Director of Retail for Goodwill of Silicon Valley. Stephen has over 35 years of Retail Management and Leadership Experience. Prior to joining the team at Goodwill, Stephen spent 14 years as an Area Manager for a leading department store chain. He also has 15 years experience in leading two highly successful entertainment businesses as a District Manager and Regional Manager of Northern California and Nevada. Stephen also served terms as an active Board Member of the United Way of Santa Cruz, and Goodwill of Santa Cruz and Monterey counties.
Stephen takes pride in the teams he has built and believes building strong relationships, focusing on development and training, and empowering people have led to his successes and will continue so at Goodwill.

Don Aguilar

Don Aguilar

Vice President of Human Resources

Serving in the role of Vice President, Human Resources for Goodwill of Silicon Valley, Don Aguilar designs and oversees the agency’s people strategy. Mr. Aguilar is helping to accelerate GWSV’s transformation through culture development, leadership, talent acquisition and organizational effectiveness, as he serves the mission to help those with barriers to employment. Mr. Aguilar brings 25 years of experience in human resources and organization development, having led HR teams in Fortune 100 companies, regional financial organizations and nonprofits, as well as having founded his own HR and organization development consulting firm. He has earned a Master’s degree in Psychology and is SHRM-SCP certified.

Josh Altieri

Joshua Altieri

Director of Marketing

Joshua Altieri is the Director of Marketing, but Joshua originally started at GWSV as a business developer in the NOW Program helping the previously incarcerated find employment.   Josh’s passion for the mission and marketing strategies have helped retail set sales records, procure donation volume to an all-time high, accelerate social enterprise revenues, and helped boost mission services program enrollment.  Josh earned his Bachelor's from San Francisco State University and Master's degree from the University of San Francisco.

Mitchell Koblis

Director of Facilities

Mitchell Koblis began with GWSV in 2013 and carries over 25 years of maintenance management, process development, and integrated circuit packaging experience. Mitchell has boosted operational efficiency within a variety of departments and has launched a comprehensive energy efficiency program across the entire organization.

Jose Montes

Jose Montes

Director of Loss Prevention

Jose Montes serves as the Director of Loss Prevention and oversees all investigations, audits, security and safety. Jose is also heavily involved in the Good Guard program which has graduated over 500 security guards since 2011. Jose attended U.C. Berkeley from '69-'73 and '78-'79, eventually earning his Bachelor's Degree. Jose worked for the San Jose Police Department from 1979 until retiring in 2008.

Cynthia Harvey

Cynthia Harvey

Director of Contracts & Maintenance

Cynthia Harvey oversees Goodwill’s auto detailing, mattress recycling, car sales, and packaging and kitting enterprises. She comes to Goodwill of Silicon Valley from Goodwill of San Francisco, where she served as the Donations Manager and Operations Analyst. She has managed operations for two private sector companies and came to the field after ten years in education, as a teacher, researcher, and administrator. A graduate of Brown University, Cynthia has a master’s in education and has held two fellowship positions. Cynthia’s background in education informs her work with those with barriers to employment, and she believes deeply in Goodwill’s mission of helping people change their lives through personal development and supported work.
